Public presentation and delivery of project (500 points)
Research Paper (1000 points)
Presentations will occur Monday, May 23 (period 4) and Wednesday, May 25 (periods 3 and 5).
You are required to attend your period’s presentations.
Presentation times will be assigned and may not be traded.
Public presentation and delivery of project (500 points): This is a 10-minute oral presentation of your research project. In your public presentation, you should provide a brief introduction to your topic’s thesis, your research, and be ready to discuss three especially interesting aspects of your project in depth. This is a persuasive research project, so you should be ready to argue for your thesis. You also may provide handouts for your audience.
At least three (3) sources must be cited in the body of the paper.
~At least one book
~At least one interview
~At least one media source
Cite these references using the MLA in-text format rather than using footnotes. The paper must include a list of references, or works cited / bibliography. The list of sources you actually cite should appear first, followed (if you wish) by a list of additional sources consulted and/or recommended to the reader.
